Sautéed Beef & Brussels Sprouts

Instructions

  • 1.   Heat 1 tsp of oil in a wok over high heat and sauté the halved Brussels sprouts for 4 minutes. Add water and continue cooking for 5 minutes, covered, to keep them green. Set aside, covered.
  • 2.   Wipe the wok clean. Heat 1 tsp of oil over high heat and sauté the minced bell pepper and sliced green onions for 3 minutes. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Set aside with the Brussels sprouts.
  • 3.   Wipe the wok clean. Heat the remaining oil over high heat and sauté the beef slices, 1 minute. Do it in two batches. Return the vegetables to the wok, add the cabbage bowl, hoisin sauce, additional water, and pepper. Reheat for 1 minute. Serve with brown rice.
