Oven-Roasted Pork Tenderloin

For a simple meal. The pork tenderloin is a particularly easy piece to prepare.

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 200°C. In a hot pan, pour a drizzle of olive oil.
  • 2.   Season the pork tenderloin with salt and place it in the hot pan.
  • 3.   Brown the meat on all sides, it's important to add flavor.
  • 4.   Once well seared, season with pepper.
  • 5.   Place the two pork tenderloins in a baking dish.
  • 6.   Add sprigs of thyme and rosemary.
  • 7.   Place a few pieces of butter on the pork tenderloins.
  • 8.   Bake for about 20 minutes at 200°C, basting the tenderloin regularly and flipping it halfway through cooking.
    Once cooked, remove from the oven, season with pepper, and let it rest covered for about 10 minutes.

Notes & Suggestions

  • Serve with a gratin, mashed potatoes, or a mesclun salad.
