Quick Oatmeal Waffles with Salted Caramel

Delicious oatmeal waffles topped with salted caramel. A treat to start the day off right!

Instructions

  • 1.   Beat the egg in a bowl.
  • 2.   Add the oatmeal flakes and baking powder.
  • 3.   Mix well, then add the other ingredients.
  • 4.   Place a silicone waffle mold on the rotating plate of your microwave and pour the batter into two cavities.
  • 5.   Cook for 2.5 to 3 minutes.
  • 6.   Remove from the mold onto a plate and drizzle with salted caramel.
  • 7.   Enjoy warm.

Notes & Suggestions

  • It is important to fill the mold placed on the microwave plate because it is soft and once filled, it will be difficult to handle without spilling the batter.

  • 3 tablespoon of skim milk
  • ½ teaspoon of baking powder
  • 2 teaspoon of sweetener
