Wednesday Waffles

A waffle is a light dough cooked between two metal plates, hinged together by one or more hinges, adorned with patterns that are imprinted on the dough and give the pastry its characteristic shape.

Instructions

  • 1.   Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar and vanilla sugar.
  • 2.   Beat 2 whole eggs and one egg yolk with a fork.
  • 3.   Set aside the third egg white, to beat it until stiff peaks form.
  • 4.   Add the beaten eggs to the previous mixture.
  • 5.   Mix the sifted flour with the baking powder.
  • 6.   Gradually pour in a LITTLE MILK, stirring constantly to avoid lumps (wooden spoon).
  • 7.   Beat the egg white until stiff peaks form, and gently fold it into the batter.
  • 8.   Grease the waffle iron and cook the waffles for 2 to 3 minutes.

  • 75 g of sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g of flour
  • ¼ liter of semi-skimmed milk
  • 1 bag of baking powder
