Instructions

  • 1.   Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat the oil in a sauté pan. Add the onions and let them brown for 5 minutes.
  • 2.   Add the ground beef, mix for 3 minutes over high heat to brown it. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, seeded and minced bell pepper, and drained red beans. Season with salt and sprinkle with spices. Simmer for 10 minutes covered.
  • 3.   Place 4 wheat tortillas in the bottom of a gratin dish. Fill the center of each with the simmered beef. Fold the fajitas closed and sprinkle them with grated cheddar cheese.
  • 4.   Slide the dish under the hot broiler of the oven for a few minutes to melt the cheese. Serve hot.

  • 4 tortilla wraps
  • 1 small red kidney bean
  • 1 small crushed tomato
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoon of olive oil
  • salt (according to taste)
