Spaghetti with fresh tomatoes and basil

Instructions

. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packaging.

. Blanch the tomatoes for 6 seconds. Peel them. Remove the seeds and cut the flesh into small cubes.

. Peel the garlic and press it with a garlic press (or crush it flat on a cutting board with the blade of a knife).

. Blend half of the tomatoes with the garlic, a little salt, some pepper, and olive oil.

. Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and heat it over low heat, covered, for 10 minutes.

. Drain the remaining tomatoes in a colander.

. Drain the pasta and place it in a dish. Add the tomato cubes and the hot sauce.

. Serve immediately.

. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese to taste.
