Instructions

  • 1.   Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packaging.
  • 2.   Blanch the tomatoes for 6 seconds. Peel them. Remove the seeds and cut the flesh into small cubes.
  • 3.   Peel the garlic and press it with a garlic press (or crush it flat on a cutting board with the blade of a knife).
  • 4.   Blend half of the tomatoes with the garlic, a little salt, some pepper, and olive oil.
  • 5.   Transfer the mixture to a saucepan and heat it over low heat, covered, for 10 minutes.
  • 6.   Drain the remaining tomatoes in a colander.
  • 7.   Drain the pasta and place it in a dish. Add the tomato cubes and the hot sauce.
  • 8.   Serve immediately.
  • 9.   Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese to taste.
