Red Lentil Patties

Instructions

  • 1.   Blend the organic red lentils in a powerful blender to turn them into flour.

    Feel free to blend multiple times to obtain a fine powder.

    Once well blended, place the lentil flour in a bowl.
  • 2.   Add salt, pepper, and powdered turmeric.
  • 3.   Add cold water.

    Mix well and let it rest for 5 minutes so that the flour absorbs the water.
  • 4.   Heat your lightly oiled pan and pour the batter using a large tablespoon.

    (I cook my patties in batches of three).

    Cook for 1 minute on each side.

    Place the patties on a plate and serve immediately.

Notes & Suggestions

  • These patties are delicious hot, warm, or cold.

    They go well with a mixed salad or a saucy dish.
