Salmon and Avocado Shirashi

Instructions

  • 1.   Rinse the rice under cold water, drain it, and place it in a saucepan.
  • 2.   Cover and bring to a boil.
  • 3.   Reduce the heat, cover, and let it cook for about 15 minutes (the water is almost absorbed).
  • 4.   Turn off the heat and let it steam for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  • 5.   In a cup, mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt.
  • 6.   Place the rice in a bowl and pour the vinegar mixture over it, mixing well (keep a portion without vinegar for children).
  • 7.   Cut the salmon and avocado into small pieces.
  • 8.   Fill bowls with rice, add the avocado and raw salmon (cook it in a pan for very young children).
    Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

    Serve with sauces.

  • 250 g of round rice
  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 avocados
  • 3 tablespoon of rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame seed
  • 1 small wazabi
  • 1 cup of sweet soy sauce
