Instructions

  • 1.   Heat 250 g of honey in a saucepan or in the microwave.
  • 2.   Mix the flour with baking powder, both sugars, and the spices.
  • 3.   Add the warm honey (ideally stirring with a wooden spoon).
  • 4.   Gradually incorporate 2 eggs, then a little lukewarm milk to combine everything.
  • 5.   Preheat the oven to 160°C (325°F).
  • 6.   Pour the mixture into a well-greased and floured loaf pan.
  • 7.   Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes.
  • 8.   Unmold the gingerbread when it has completely cooled. Wait at least 24 hours before tasting.
  • 9.   It can be stored for a week, wrapped in aluminum foil.

  • 5 g of nutmeg
  • 5 g of cinnamon powder
  • 5 g of ginger powder

  • 2 eggs
  • 10 cl of milk
