Parsnip and Bacon Sauté

Instructions

  • 1.   Clean the parsnips and cut them into fries. Heat a knob of butter in a pan. Sauté the bacon matchsticks until they are golden brown.
    Add the parsnips, a few parsley leaves, 1 tablespoon of water, salt, and pepper.
    Let it cook over low heat and covered for 10 to 15 minutes. The parsnips should take on a nice hazelnut color.
    Serve immediately.
