Carrot and Jerusalem Artichoke Sauté with Thyme

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel the carrots and Jerusalem artichokes, then cut them into pieces. Peel and crush the garlic cloves. Then heat the olive oil in a skillet. Sauté the crushed garlic using a garlic press. Then add the carrots and Jerusalem artichokes, stirring well for 5 minutes.
  • 2.   Sprinkle with dried thyme, salt, and pepper to taste. Add a little water and the bouillon cube. Continue cooking for another 10 minutes over low heat. Serve immediately in a serving dish this recipe for carrot and Jerusalem artichoke sauté with thyme.

  • 1 vegetable bouillon cube

    I made it in the oven, but it remains very similar. Be careful if you don't like sweet and savory, exchange the carrots with a less sweet vegetable!
