Maple Syrup and Chocolate Chip Cookies

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).

    In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter.

    Meanwhile, whisk the egg with the granulated sugar and maple syrup.

    Add the flour and salt and mix with a spatula.

    Add the baking powder and then the melted butter mixture.

    Mix well to obtain a smooth dough.

    Add the chocolate chips and gently mix.

    Place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking sheet.

    Using two teaspoons, form small dough mounds, spacing them 3 cm (1 inch) apart.

    Flatten them slightly.

    Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Airfryer cooking: 7 minutes at 160°C (320°F).

    Let cool on the baking sheet.
