Simple Pepper Sauce

Instructions

  • 1.   Make a roux with butter and flour.
  • 2.   Add 1/4 liter of water all at once and mix well.
  • 3.   Add the bouillon cube, a tablespoon of tarragon vinegar, and a teaspoon of crushed black pepper.
  • 4.   Thicken the sauce.
    Add salt if necessary (usually unnecessary due to the bouillon).
  • 5.   Just before serving, add ground pepper: no, it doesn't duplicate the crushed black pepper!
  • 6.   Go easy though...
