Lentil and Chicken Stir-Fry

Instructions

  • 1.   Preferably use a wok, otherwise a frying pan.
  • 2.   Sauté the onion and bell pepper in 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • 3.   Rinse the lentils with cold water.
  • 4.   Add them to the wok with a glass of cold water and the spices.
  • 5.   The red lentils will cook a bit like risotto. (DO NOT do this with traditional lentils).
  • 6.   Add water during cooking if necessary.
  • 7.   Allow 15 minutes of cooking time.
  • 8.   Serve them with plain rice.

  • 1 glass of red lentil
  • 1 glass of rice
  • 1 onion
  • ½ red bell peppers
  • 1 handful of raisin
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 200 g of chicken breast
  • 200 g of button mushroom
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
