Instructions

  • 1.   Pour the flour into a bowl and add the salt.
  • 2.   Mix, then gradually incorporate the water, kneading until the dough comes away from the sides and is no longer sticky.
  • 3.   Knead for an additional 5 minutes.
  • 4.   Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
  • 5.   Divide the dough into 5 portions. Flatten them with a rolling pin, as if making a pie crust, then cut them into square or rectangular sheets.
  • 6.   Prick each sheet with a fork or a pastry wheel to create dotted lines.
  • 7.   Sprinkle a baking sheet with flour and place the dough sheets on it.
  • 8.   Bake for 15 minutes, checking regularly: the dough should lightly brown.
  • 9.   Let cool on a wire rack, then spread with your desired toppings!
