Lemon English-style eggless dessert cream

Instructions

  • 1.   Grate the lemon zest and squeeze the lemons.

    In a saucepan, mix the cream and sugar. Gently bring the mixture to a boil while stirring to dissolve the sugar.

    Add the lemon juice while continuously whisking. Maintain the boiling for 30 seconds.

    Add the zest off the heat. The mixture will still be liquid but will thicken as it cools.

    Divide into small bowls or glasses...
    Place in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.

    Serve chilled.
