1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour the mini loaf pans or place muffin liners in the pans.
2. In a bowl, beat the sugar and eggs until the mixture becomes pale and doubles in volume.
3. Gradually pour in the oil and milk.
4. Mix in the flour and baking powder. Divide the batter into ⅔ and ⅓ portions. Add vanilla extract to the first portion and cocoa to the second portion (if the batter is too thick, add 1 tablespoon of milk at a time to thin it out and make it easier to marble).
5. Pour a layer of vanilla batter and add a small amount of cocoa batter. Repeat the process for a second layer.
6. Use a toothpick to create a random swirling motion to achieve the marble effect.
7. Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

8. Remove from the pans and cool on a wire rack.
