Red Fruit Squares

A healthy recipe without refined sugar for the sweet tooth!

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a square baking dish with parchment paper.
  • 2.   Base: In a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients (oats, flour, baking powder, and salt). In another bowl, mash the banana with a fork. Add the agave syrup, lemon juice, and vanilla, and mix well. Add the banana mixture to the first bowl with the coconut oil. Mix until a dough forms. Transfer the dough to the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly with a spatula (or your hands). Bake for 10 minutes.
  • 3.   Jam: In a saucepan over low heat, pour the strawberries and red fruits. Mash them with a fork. Turn off the heat and add the agave syrup and vanilla. Mix well and let the jam thicken for about 5 minutes.
  • 4.   Crumble: Mix all the ingredients with your hands until it reaches a crumble-like consistency.
  • 5.   Remove the baking dish from the oven. Pour the jam over the baked dough. Add red fruits on top of the jam. Sprinkle with the crumble topping and gently press it down with your hands.
  • 6.   Bake for 30 minutes or until the top becomes golden. Remove from the oven, let it cool, and cut into squares.

  • Pour la base des carrés :
  • 120 g of oat flake
  • 50 g of whole wheat flour
  • ½ teaspoon of baking powder
  • 2 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tablespoon of agave syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Pour la confiture de fruits rouges :
  • 100 g of strawberry
  • 150 g of frozen red fruits
  • 1 tablespoon of agave syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Pour le topping "crumble" :
  • 80 g of oat flake
  • 3 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon of agave syrup
