Classic Bread in a Bread Machine

Instructions

  • 1.   In the bread machine, add in the following order: yeast, warm water, flour, salt, sugar.
  • 2.   Start the bread program, choose the desired crust setting, and set the duration to approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes.
  • 3.   After five to ten minutes, check the elasticity of the dough, which should form a nice, plump, and elastic ball, similar to chewed gum.
  • 4.   If the dough is too sticky, add a little flour. If the dough crumbles or falls apart, add a little water.

Ingredients for servings

  • 10 g of dried baker's yeast
  • 38 cl of water
  • 600 g of flour
  • 1.5 teaspoon of salt

    I made the recipe as is and the proportions are accurate. However, I prefer to bake the bread in the oven, so I let the dough rise once in the bread machine, then a second time in the mold before baking it.
