Wheat Salad with Beets, Apples, and Pecans

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  • 2.   Cook the wheat grains in a large pot of boiling water following the instructions on the packaging.
  • 3.   Whisk together the vinegar, olive oil, and honey.
    Add the garlic, shallots, and tarragon, season with salt and pepper.
  • 4.   In a large salad bowl, combine the cooked wheat grains, beets, and peeled and diced apples, then add the pecans.
  • 5.   Drizzle with the vinaigrette and mix well.

  • 400 g of wheat
  • 2 cooked beetroots
  • 2 red apples
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 4 shallots
  • 10 cl of wine vinegar
  • 5 cl of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 2 sprig of fresh tarragon
  • 50 g of pecan nut
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
