Lentil-Chickpea Balls

Instructions

  • 1.   The day before, soak the lentils and chickpeas separately in 3 times their volume of water with baking soda.
    The next day, drain them and put everything in a food processor.
  • 2.   Add all the seasonings (onion, garlic, paprika, vanilla, parsley, and coriander) to the obtained mixture and mix.
  • 3.   Pour the flour onto a plate. Heat the oil in a small wok or deep fryer.
    Shape the mixture into oblong balls and roll them in the flour, then fry them until golden.
    Repeat until all the mixture is used.
  • 4.   Clean the vegetables for the salad and cut them into large cubes. Arrange them in a large dish coated with hummus.
    Sprinkle with mint, drizzle with olive oil and lemon.
  • 5.   Place the fried balls on top.

  • Pour les boulettes :
  • 200 g of dry lentil
  • 200 g of dried chickpeas
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh coriander
  • 2 tablespoon of flour
  • 2 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 40 cl of peanut oil
  • Pour la salade :
  • ½ romaine lettuces
  • ½ cucumbers
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 cup of hummus
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh mint
  • 3 tablespoon of olive oil
  • ½ lemon juice
