Massalé Chicken

Instructions

  • 1.   Cut the chicken into pieces.
    Brown it in oil.
  • 2.   Once it is well browned, add the sliced onions, crushed garlic with salt, fresh thyme, diced tomatoes, turmeric, massalé, and curry leaves.
  • 3.   Stir and cover with water.
  • 4.   Let it cook for 40 minutes over medium heat.

Notes & Suggestions

  • Serve with rice, beans, and rougail.
  • Curry leaves can be replaced with bay leaves.

  • 4 caloupile branches
