White Sausages with Leeks

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel and wash the leeks. Cut them into 1.5 cm slices. Sauté them gently in butter.
  • 2.   Be careful, make sure to watch them closely, the mixture should not burn.
  • 3.   If necessary, add a tiny bit of water. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 4.   When the leeks are cooked (they should no longer be crunchy), add half a teaspoon of good curry powder. Add the fresh cream.
  • 5.   Let it simmer for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to blend. Keep warm.
  • 6.   Gently sauté the white sausages in butter. They should not open up... But if they do, the dish will still be good, but less presentable. To prevent this, prick them before putting them in the pan. And never cook them over high heat.
  • 7.   When they are slightly golden, place them in a dish with the leeks.
  • 8.   Serve immediately.
