Instructions

  • 1.   Slice the tomatoes into fairly thin rounds.
  • 2.   Arrange them in a dish.
  • 3.   Drizzle with a little oil and sprinkle with salt.
  • 4.   Bake in a hot oven (375°F/190°C) for 30 minutes.
  • 5.   Meanwhile, sauté the finely sliced onions without browning.
  • 6.   Let cool for a few minutes, then add the breadcrumbs, parmesan, and 2 tablespoons of oil.
  • 7.   Spread this mixture over the tomatoes.
  • 8.   Return to the oven for 20 minutes (350°F/180°C).
  • 9.   Enjoy.
