Mexican-style Red Bean Mash

Instructions

  • 1.   Cook an onion over low heat with olive oil.
  • 2.   Add washed and drained red beans. Add tomato paste, a little water, Mexican spices, and heat up.
  • 3.   Remove from heat and incorporate the peeled tomato, cut into small pieces.

    Crush the beans roughly, leaving some bean pieces in the mash.
  • 4.   Cover and keep warm for a few minutes.

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 250 g of canned red bean
  • 1 tablespoon of Mexican spice blend
