Brie and Honey Tartine

Can be adapted according to the season with apple, fig, pear, grape, canned pears... Swap walnuts for cashews or hazelnuts, cumin for thyme...

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • 2.   Tip: If the bread is dry, add a few drops of water or milk on the crumb beforehand.
  • 3.   Cut the brie into thin slices and arrange them on the tartines.
    Add thin slices of pear (apple, figs, grapes, blackberries, dried fruits...) => you can also reserve the fruit for the salad or even for dessert depending on the day's desire or swap it for red fruit jam, for example, if you don't have any fresh fruit.
    Lightly season with pepper and drizzle with honey. (and a pinch of cumin, thyme, or rosemary... according to your taste)
  • 4.   Bake the tartines for about 10 minutes, until they have a nice golden color.
    Meanwhile, roughly chop the nuts (hazelnuts or others) and season the salad with a drizzle of olive oil, a splash of vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  • 5.   Serve the tartines on a bed of salad. Sprinkle with the nuts.
    Serve immediately.
