KFC Crispy Tenders Recipe

Instructions

  • 1.   In a Ziploc bag, mix the chicken pieces with the spices. Add the milk.
  • 2.   Close the Ziploc bag tightly and shake well to incorporate the spices and milk. Place in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 4 hours (for safety, place the Ziploc bag in a bowl).
  • 3.   Prepare the breading by mixing the flour and spices in a large, shallow plate.
  • 4.   Pour 3 tablespoons of milk and mix with a fork until you get a crumbly mixture.
  • 5.   Prepare a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and heat the frying oil.
  • 6.   Remove the chicken pieces from the marinade and coat them in the breading, pressing it onto the chicken with your fingers.
  • 7.   Place them on the baking sheet as you go.
  • 8.   When the oil is hot, carefully lower the chicken pieces into the fryer (do not overcrowd the fryer) and cook until they have a nice golden color.
  • 9.   Drain the chicken pieces and place them on a plate lined with parchment paper.
  • 10.   Serve hot.

  • 4 chicken cutlets
  • 240 ml of fermented milk
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of Espelette pepper
  • Enrobage :
  • 170 g of flour
  • ¾ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ¾ teaspoon of pepper
  • ¾ teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 frying oil
  • 400 g of French fries (optional)
