French-style "carbonara" pasta

Instructions

  • 1.   Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water.
  • 2.   Slice the onions and sauté them in a pan. Once they are nicely browned, add the bacon.
  • 3.   In a bowl, mix together the sour cream, eggs, salt, and pepper.
  • 4.   Remove the bacon from the heat as soon as it is browned and add it to the cream mixture.
  • 5.   Once the pasta is cooked al dente, drain it and mix in the cream. Reheat if the dish has cooled down.
  • 6.   Serve and enjoy!
    You can also add mushrooms to your dish.
