Light Chicken Cordon Bleu

Instructions

  • 1.   Place the slice of ham on the chicken cutlet.
  • 2.   Prepare the filling by blending together grated gruyere cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, and parsley. Add a little water if necessary (1 to 2 tablespoons).
  • 3.   Place 1 tablespoon of filling on one end, fold it in 2 or 3 like a wallet, and seal the edges well so that the filling does not escape.
  • 4.   Roll the cordon bleu in flour, tap to remove the excess, then dip it in the egg and finally roll it in breadcrumbs to fully coat it.
  • 5.   There are 2 possible cooking methods:
    ➡️ 0 fat in the oven, bake for 20 minutes at 200°C, turning them halfway through cooking, then finish for 1 minute under the grill setting.
    ➡️ Or in 1 teaspoon of oil + 1 small knob of butter over medium heat in a frying pan (be careful, high heat can burn it quickly).
  • 6.   Serve with broccoli.
