Asparagus and Cheese Cannelloni

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • 2.   Cook lasagna sheets in salted boiling water for 2 to 3 minutes maximum to make them more tender.
  • 3.   Cook the asparagus, keeping at least 4 whole ones.
  • 4.   Prepare the béchamel sauce.
  • 5.   Place a slice of cheese on each lasagna sheet, cover it with a little béchamel sauce and some pieces of asparagus, place a whole asparagus on top, and roll it up.
  • 6.   Spread a little béchamel sauce in an ovenproof dish and add the rolls.
  • 7.   Cover each roll with a slice of cheese, pour sauce over them, and add the remaining asparagus and peas.
    Bake for 15 to 20 minutes and broil for the last 5 minutes to gratinate.

  • ½ bunch of green asparagus
  • 2 handful of green pea (frozen)
  • 4 slice of maredsous cheese character
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
