Pan-fried rutabagas with bacon and carrots

Instructions

  • 1.   In a sauté pan, sauté the chopped onions and shallots in margarine. Once they are golden, add the bacon.
  • 2.   Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
  • 3.   Meanwhile, peel the carrots into slices and cut the rutabagas into 2/3cm squares.
  • 4.   Add the broth and add the rutabagas.
  • 5.   Cover, let cook for 10 minutes, and add the carrots.
  • 6.   Simmer for 20 minutes, then add the peas.
  • 7.   Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  • 8.   It's ready.
