Raclette with Parisian ham and caramelized onion

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
  • 2.   Peel and cut the potatoes into pieces (about 2 cm or smaller).
    Place them in a baking dish (not directly on the rack). Season with salt, pepper, and drizzle with olive oil.
    Bake for about 20 minutes.
  • 3.   In a sauté pan, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat and sauté the minced onion with the sugar for 10 to 12 minutes until caramelized.
    Stir occasionally.
  • 4.   Cut the raclette cheese into pieces.
    After the 20 minutes of baking the potatoes, distribute the raclette cheese on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  • 5.   Season the salad with a drizzle of olive oil and vinegar. Season with salt and pepper.

    In bowls, distribute a rolled slice of ham, caramelized onion, salad, and raclette potatoes.
