Instructions

. Separate the egg whites from the yolks of 4 eggs and beat them until stiff peaks form.

. Mix 125g of melted butter with 125g of sugar until light and fluffy.

. Mix 80g of flour and baking powder. Add to the butter/sugar mixture.

. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).

. Then add the 250g of melted chocolate. Once the mixture has cooled, add the egg yolks.

. Gently fold in the beaten egg whites.

. Reduce the temperature to 170°C (338°F) and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the cake.

. Grease a cake pan, pour in the batter, and place in the preheated oven.

. Whip the heavy cream with 75g of sugar to make whipped cream.
Notes & Suggestions
Use dark chocolate with 70% cocoa content.
