Fish and Vegetable Tajine

Instructions

  • 1.   Cut the tomatoes into 8 pieces. Cut the peppers into strips. Roughly chop the basil. Slice the leeks. Slice the onions and press the garlic.
  • 2.   Melt the leeks, onions, and garlic in olive oil. Add the tomatoes, peppers, celery, turmeric, basil, pepper, and salt.
  • 3.   Mix, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • 4.   Cut the fish fillets into 8 pieces, removing the skin and central bone. Add them to the vegetables. Continue cooking on low heat and covered, occasionally basting the fish with the vegetable juice.
  • 5.   Pour the lemon juice 5 minutes before removing the fish from the heat.

  • 3 garlic cloves
  • ½ glass of olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon of celery powder
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 6 black pollock
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon of white pepper
  • salt (according to taste)
