Salsa Sauce for Fajitas in the Thermomix

Instructions

  • 1.   Place the garlic clove and roughly chopped onion in the bowl of the Thermomix and mix for 5 seconds at speed 7.
  • 2.   Sauces for fajitas... Salsa and Guacamole
    Scrape down the sides with a spatula.

    Pour in the oil. Cook for 4 minutes on the simmer function, using the varoma button, making sure to remove the measuring cup from the lid.
  • 3.   After 2 minutes, add the sugar through the lid opening.
    Add the peeled tomatoes and all the spices.
    Mix for 10 seconds at speed 5.
    Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
  • 4.   Slice the bell peppers.
    Pour them into the bowl, along with the tomato paste.
    Remove the measuring cup from the lid and program for 20 minutes at 100 °C, on reverse speed 2.
  • 5.   When the timer stops, pour into a bowl, let cool, and refrigerate.

  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ½ red bell peppers
  • ½ green bell peppers
  • 70 g of tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 250 g of canned peeled tomato
  • 2 tablespoon of tex Mex spices
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of ground cumin
  • 2 pinch of Espelette pepper
