Royal Couscous

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel and slice the onions and garlic cloves. Cut the lamb into large pieces. In the bottom of a pot (or a Dutch oven), sauté the onion, garlic, lamb, and chicken with a little olive oil.
  • 2.   Peel and slice the celery, carrots, and turnips. Drain the chickpeas. In the pot or Dutch oven, add the celery, carrots, turnips, chickpeas, tomato paste, harissa, and salt. Cover the ingredients with water. Simmer covered over low heat for 1 hour.
