Instructions

  • 1.   Mix all the marinade ingredients (Greek yogurt, garam masala, cumin, turmeric, cardamom) in a dish. Add the meat and coat it well with the spice mixture. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • 2.   Chop the cashews. Finely chop the onions and garlic. Grate the ginger.
  • 3.   Sauté the onions, then add the garlic, ginger (1 unit of fresh ginger = 1cm grated), and tomato paste. Cook for 1 minute, then add the chicken with its marinade and brown it well.
  • 4.   Add the crushed tomatoes and cream. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer gently for about 20 minutes, stirring frequently (30 minutes for chicken thighs).
  • 5.   Adjust the seasoning and sprinkle with cashews before serving.

  • 2 onions
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 400 g of crushed tomato
  • 20 cl of thick sour cream
  • 20 cl of Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon of powdered cardamom
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
