Instructions

  • 1.   Peel the potatoes and rinse them with water. Remove any eyes or black spots. If they are different sizes, cut them lengthwise to obtain pieces of the same volume.
  • 2.   Pour about 3 cm of water into a pot or large saucepan and place a perforated basket on top of the water. Place the potatoes in the basket. Sprinkle two pinches of coarse salt over them. Cover and bring to a boil. Let them cook for 20 to 30 minutes, until the potatoes are tender.
  • 3.   Place the potatoes in a dish and serve.
