Peach Charlotte

A small fruit cake surrounded by a biscuit disc, this light dessert can be made in any season. A classic family meal dessert, the charlotte is a sweet treat that never gets old because it is so delicious. It is also a fairly easy dessert to make, contrary to what one might think.

Instructions

  • 1.   Quickly dip the ladyfingers in the peach syrup and place them at the bottom and on the sides of a charlotte mold.
  • 2.   Cut the peaches into small pieces.
  • 3.   Put a little sweetened cottage cheese at the bottom of the mold, then the peach pieces. Alternate layers of cottage cheese and peaches until 2 cm from the top of the mold, finishing with a layer of cottage cheese. Finish by placing ladyfingers soaked in syrup on top.
  • 4.   Close the charlotte mold and refrigerate for 12 hours. (Place a heavy container on top of the mold to compress it well).
  • 5.   Unmold just before serving.

  • 12 tablespoon of cottage cheese
