Surimi Quiche

Small quiches from the sea to be enjoyed hot or cold. Prepared in advance, they can be enjoyed for a cold buffet or a picnic.

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 210°C (425°F). Whisk the eggs with the fromage blanc, cream, and flour (reserving a teaspoon to flour the molds). Gradually pour in the milk until a smooth batter is obtained. Season with salt, pepper, add nutmeg and chervil. Stir in the grated surimi (or seafood imitation) and the gruyère cheese. Mix well.
  • 2.   Grease and lightly flour 4 individual tart molds. Divide the mixture evenly among the molds. Cut the surimi sticks into slices and lightly press them into the molds. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve hot or cold.

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of little Swiss
  • 2 tablespoon of sour cream
  • 80 g of flour
  • 150 ml of milk
  • ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 3 teaspoon of fresh chervil
  • 140 g of surimi
  • 30 g of grated Gruyère cheese
  • 2 teaspoon of margarine
  • 2 leeks
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
