Ham and pasta gratin

Instructions

  • 1.   Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the flour and mix with a wooden spoon. Pour in the milk gradually, while whisking constantly, then let it thicken over low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring regularly. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 2.   Cook the pasta al dente in a pot of salted boiling water. Drain.
  • 3.   Preheat the oven to 210°C (410°F).
  • 4.   Pour the pasta into a gratin dish, add the ham and the béchamel sauce, then mix. Top with grated emmental cheese, then place in the oven and let it gratin for about 15 minutes.
  • 5.   Serve hot.

  • 40 g of butter
  • 30 g of flour
  • 50 cl of milk
  • 100 g of ham cube
  • 50 g of grated emmental
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • salt (according to taste)
