Homemade Crackers

Delicious omega 3-packed crackers to accompany hummus for appetizers! Seed mix used here: poppy seeds, sunflower seeds, flax seeds.

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • 2.   Mix the flour, salt, spices, water, olive oil, and 3 tablespoons of seeds (or a seed mix) in a food processor or by hand.
  • 3.   Form a ball with the dough.
    Place it on a floured work surface.
  • 4.   Roll out the dough thinly (about 2-3 mm thick).
    Spread 2 tablespoons of olive oil on the dough and spread it with your hands.
  • 5.   Sprinkle with seeds and roll the dough a little more to "attach" the seeds.
    Cut the dough in half and place each half on 2 baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  • 6.   Bake for 20 minutes. Let cool and break into pieces.

  • 300 g of whole wheat flour
  • 30 ml of olive oil
  • 4 g of salt
  • 180 ml of water
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika
  • 1 pinch of Espelette pepper
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 poppy seed
  • 1 sunflower seed
  • 1 flaxseed
  • 2 tablespoon of olive oil
