Instructions

  • 1.   Peel and finely chop garlic and onions. Peel and wash the carrots, cut them into cubes.
  • 2.   Sauté the onions in a drizzle of olive oil for a few minutes. Add the garlic and bacon bits.
  • 3.   When the bacon starts to brown, add the carrot cubes. Stir and let them cook for a few minutes so that the carrots are coated in fat.
  • 4.   Add the peas. Stir.
  • 5.   Then add ½ glass of water, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • 6.   Let it cook for about 25 minutes.

  • 500 g of carrot
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 100 g of smoked bacon
  • 1 stalk of thyme (optional)
  • salt (according to taste)
