Quick Appetizer Recipe with Seasonal Vegetables Puff Pastry

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • 2.   Unroll the puff pastry and cut it into small rectangles of about 8 x 5 cm (3 x 2 inches). Spread mustard on them, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and prick them with a fork to prevent them from puffing up too much.
  • 3.   Wash the tomatoes, mushrooms, and half of a zucchini, then cut them into thin slices. Arrange them on the pastry rectangles, alternating the vegetables from rectangle to rectangle and slightly overlapping the slices.
  • 4.   Drizzle with a little oil, sprinkle with Herbes de Provence and poppy seeds, season with salt and pepper.
  • 5.   Bake for about 15 minutes, keeping an eye on them. Serve as an appetizer and enjoy in moderation!
