Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • 2.   Unroll the puff pastry while keeping the parchment paper, and brush it with a mixture of milk and egg yolk.
  • 3.   Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and Herbes de Provence, then cut the pastry into strips about 10 cm by 2 cm.
  • 4.   Gently twist each strip, still on the parchment paper. If possible, refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • 5.   Bake for about 10 minutes, keeping an eye on them. Serve warm or cold with a dipping sauce.

Notes & Suggestions

  • Omit the salt, pepper, and Herbes de Provence, and add a little sugar for sweet biscuit twists. You can also use other herbs for flavoring.
