Instructions

  • 1.   Cook the spaghetti in salted water following the instructions on the packaging.
  • 2.   Dice the carrot, celery, and onion into small pieces. Grill the vegetables in a pan without any fat. Squeeze the garlic and add it to the pan. Occasionally drizzle with broth.
  • 3.   Add the lentils and the remaining broth. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes and thicken with tomato paste. Bring the sauce to a boil. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs.
  • 4.   Enjoy the spaghetti with the lentil Bolognese sauce.

  • 50 g of whole wheat pasta
  • 1 carrot
  • 50 g of celery root
  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 200 ml of vegetable broth
  • 50 g of red lentil
  • 250 g of canned peeled tomato
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoon of fine herbs
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
