Green Fish Curry

In this recipe, replace the fish with poultry.

Instructions

  • 1.   Peel and chop two onions. Blend them with the peeled garlic cloves, chili pepper, ginger, and turmeric until you obtain a smooth paste. Add the yogurt and blend again.
  • 2.   Marinate the fish in this mixture for 2 hours in the refrigerator, flipping the fillets once.
  • 3.   Slice the remaining onion and sauté it in a little olive oil. Add ground coriander and cinnamon, sugar, and caramelize for 2 minutes. Reserve in a bowl.
  • 4.   Instead of the onion, sauté the well-drained fillets (reserve the marinade) for 3 minutes on each side. Pour the marinade and broth into the sauté pan.
  • 5.   Cook the basmati rice according to the instructions on the packaging.
  • 6.   Add the bay leaf and cloves. Cover halfway and simmer for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  • 7.   Serve this fish curry with the spiced onions, basmati rice, fresh coriander, and minced green chili pepper.

  • 4 hake steaks

  • 1 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of Cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 300 g of 0% Greek yogurt
  • 3 cloves
  • ½ teaspoon of ground coriander
  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon of cane sugar
  • 1 leaf of bay leaf
  • 10 cl of chicken broth
  • 1 small green chili pepper
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 fresh coriander
  • 250 g of basmati rice
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
