Walnut & Seed Quiche, Bacon, Dates, and Ground Lamb

Instructions

  • 1.   Preheat the oven to 170 °C (340 °F). Blend the walnut mixture with the flax seeds to make flour.
  • 2.   Mix the almond flour with the butter and walnut flour. Add the egg last and season with pepper and salt.
  • 3.   Grease the mold and sprinkle it with flour. Place it in the fridge to cool.
  • 4.   Spread the walnut and seed mixture in the bottom of the mold and press it firmly.
  • 5.   Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
  • 6.   For the filling: blend the eggs with the cream. Season with ras-el-hanout, pepper, and salt.
  • 7.   Cut the bacon into small pieces. Spread the ground lamb over the walnut crust.
  • 8.   Also, place the dates and bacon on top. Pour the egg mixture over it.
  • 9.   Bake for 15 minutes at 170 °C (340 °F).

  • 10 pitted date
  • 150 g of ground lamb
  • 4 eggs
  • 30 cl of light cream
  • 5 slice of smoked bacon
  • 1 ras el-hanout
  • salt (according to taste)
  • pepper (according to taste)
