Quick and Easy Cantonese Fried Rice

Instructions

  • 1.   Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package.
  • 2.   Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and sauté finely chopped onions, peas, and bacon for about 4 minutes. You can add a little juice from the can of peas at this point to add flavor.
  • 3.   Set aside.
  • 4.   Beat the eggs, season with salt and pepper. Then make an omelette in the same pan and cut it into strips.
  • 5.   Set aside.
  • 6.   Heat another tablespoon of oil and stir-fry everything together (rice, onions, peas, bacon, omelette strips) for about 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Season with salt and pepper.
