Dark chocolate custards

Instructions

  • 1.   In a saucepan, heat 400 grams of milk with the broken pieces of chocolate. Stir until completely melted.
  • 2.   In a bowl, carefully mix the remaining 100 grams of cold milk with the cornstarch, then add the sugar and egg yolk and mix.
  • 3.   Pour this mixture back into the saucepan and put it back on the heat, stirring constantly, until the custard has thickened and coats the spoon.
  • 4.   Pour the custard into 4, 5 or 6 pots, depending on their size.
  • 5.   Cover the pots and refrigerate for a few hours. When serving, grate the remaining chocolate over the custards.

  • 100 g of whole milk
  • 70 g of dark chocolate
  • 1 handful of chocolate shavings
  • 25 g of Cornstarch
  • 20 g of sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
